CRESCENT College Comprehensive's hopes of retaining the Pinergy Munster Schools Senior Cup are still alive following a 36-29 win over Bandon Grammer College at Thomond Park.
The Dooradoyle school ran in for five tries in the victory with Fionn Casserly, Cillian Kelly, Marcus Lyons, Andrew Ahearne and Conor Ryan all touching down.
The victory puts Crescent into the quarter finals of the competition and they will face Limerick rivals Árdscoil Rís in the mouthwatering knockout game.
Following their victory, Leadersport's John Keogh caught up with Crescent coach Lee Nicholas for his thoughts on the game and what lies ahead for the team.
