JOHN KIELY was "happy" with his sides performance after they gritted out a 0-17 point draw against Galway in the final group game of the Allianz Hurling League in Pearse Stadium this Saturday afternoon.
The All-Ireland champions were brought down to 14 men after 26 minutes of play as Shane O'Brien was sent off with a red card, leaving the game in the balance at that time.
Limerick did well to battle back from this moment in the first-half to settle with a draw against the Tribesmen and ultimately topping group 1B of the Allianz Hurling League.
They will await to see the results of group 1A where they will face the second-place team in that group next weekend, March 23.
