WATCH: Garryspillane captain Colin Ryan: 'There is always a great buzz when you are in a county final'

"There is always a great buzz when you are in a county final, the parish will be full of colour and everyone is excited and looking forward to the game. That was the goal at the start of the year, we are absolutely delighted,” Garryspillane captain Colin Ryan explained at the Lyons of Limerick Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship final launch. 

Garryspillane take on Effin in the Limerick Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship final on Sunday at 1pm in the TUS Gaelic Grounds. The winner will be promoted to senior hurling for the 2026 season. 

The Bouncers came up short in last year's decider against Newcastle West. Garryspillane are aiming to return to senior hurling for the first time since 2023.

Ahead of the Limerick Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship final, Garryspillane captain Colin Ryan spoke with Leader Sport.
