"We're unbeaten but we've no win on the board yet. We've to be happy enough with two draws in our first year senior and we're looking for our first win this weekend and that's the challenge ahead of us. We've showed a lot of heart to come back in the matches we've had and we could've won both but in the end you'd be happy enough with the draws," said Newcastle West senior hurling captain Brian Hurley at the launch of the Whitebox Limerick senior hurling championship.
Newcastle West currently sit in fourth place in group two of the Limerick senior hurling championship on two points after two games played. The west Limerick side have drawn their two matches to date, against Mungret St Pauls in round one and Kildimo-Pallaskenry in round two.
