From 8pm on Saturday, February 14, until 7am on Sunday morning, the N20 between Croom and Charleville will be closed to allow for materials to be transported to the Ballyroe solar farm.

There will be a garda escort for the transport convoy, due to the size of the materials being moved.

The N20 will remain open to local traffic, but delays are to be expected.

The convoy is expected to be in Charleville between midnight and 3am.

There will be diversions at the R512 at Bruff and also at the R515 at Kilmallock.

The convoy will also affect those travelling along the Limerick Port, Dock Road, Ashbourne Avenue and R526 Ballincurra/Rathbane and there will be closures and delays.

The following day, between 8pm on Sunday and 5am on Monday, the L5530 at Ballyhea will be closed.

Diversions will be in place and local access will be maintained. Traffic on the L5529 will also be impacted.
