"We've had a lot of injuries but it has to be said that the young lads and maybe players who haven't gotten a look-in in previous years have really, really stepped up. The likes of Patrick Kearney, Conor Ryan and Eoghan Connolly. These lads have been really good. It's Darragh Gleeson's second year as well and he's been really impressive so it's great to see the younger players having a positive impact," said Adare senior hurling captain Joe Sweeney at the launch of the Whitebox Limerick senior hurling championship.
Adare currently sit in fifth place in group two of the Limerick senior hurling championship on one point after two games played. The west Limerick side lost their opening match to Monaleen before drawing to Mungret St Pauls in round two.
