WATCH: Luke Flynn says Granagh-Ballingarry eager to push on in Limerick Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship

“We were well able to compete with some of the top teams and I think looking back on some of the games we were disappointed with how they went. We definitely feel like we are good enough for everyone who we face,” said Granagh-Ballingarry vice captain Luke Flynn at the launch of the Lyons of Limerick premier intermediate hurling championship launch. 

Granagh-Ballingarry were unlucky to miss on reaching the knockout stages of the competition in 2024. Brother of former Cork hurlers Ben and Jerry O'Connor, John O'Connor takes charge of the west Limerick club this year.

Paudie Murphy and Luke Flynn are crucial forwards for Granagh-Ballingary and both players led the scoring charge in the Limerick Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship for their club last season. 

Granagh-Ballingarry open their Limerick premier intermediate hurling championship campaign against Glenroe on Friday evening at 7pm in Kilmallock. 

Ahead of the Limerick premier intermediate hurling championship, Granagh Ballingarry vice-captain Luke Flynn spoke with Leader Sport.
