"We got off to a really good start, I think we moved the ball really. We probbably benefited from the game last week. Last week we just didn't get our own tempo right and we were just a bit sharper (tonight)" said Limerick senior hurling manager John Kiely.
Limerick defeated Galway 1-27 to 0-18 on Saturday evening at the TUS Gaelic Grounds. The Shannonsiders face Kilkenny next Saturday March 15 in UPMC Nowlan Park at 3:30pm.
After the game, John Kiely spoke with Leader Sport.
