THE ESB Science Blast 2024 has kicked off this Tuesday in Limerick, with a range of schools attending day one of the highly-anticipated exhibition.
Over 130 projects were submitted for the Limerick showcase, with 36 primary schools across Limerick city and county due to attend across the three days.
From May 21 to 23, over 3,500 students across Ireland will participate in presenting their scientific creations in the University of Limerick (UL).
Students were asked to choose a scientifically driven question to investigate, research by coming together as a class, carry out an experiment based on their question and, gather findings.
They then showcased their work in front of other schools and judges, who provide them with constructive feedback on the day.
All schools are awarded for their participation and get to have fun at the annual exhibition, with activities, shows, djs and more on offer.
