"There has been a mindset change, we're watching players like James Naughton and Emmet Rigter shoot the lights out against teams. You're looking at them with players like this on our team, why can't we be going back to Croke Park. They're up there with the top forwards in the country at the moment, it just lifts the level of the whole team," said Limerick senior footballer Tommie Childs.
Childs has played a key role on Limerick's run to the Tailteann Cup semi-final. Jimmy Lee's side face Wicklow in the Tailteann Cup semi-final on Sunday at 2pm in Croke Park. Kildare meet Fermanagh in the other semi-final of the Tailteann Cup at 4pm in Croke Park.
