"Our lads showed good character to see it out. I suppose has we been as efficient in Clare as we were tonight, it might have been a different story. Overall,happy with the performance but still a few things to work on. Hopefully we can rectify that over the next few weeks," said Limerick U20 football manager John O'Grady.
Limerick defeated Waterford 3-14 to 0-13 in the Munster U20 'B' football championship final on Tuesday evening in the Mallow GAA complex. Padraic Phelan, Diarmuid Hynes and Tom Ryan impressed scoring 3-3 for the victors.
Limerick will now face Ulster opposition in the All-Ireland U20 B semi-final in six weeks time. After the game, Leader Sport caught up with Limerick U20 football manager John O'Grady.
