DOON booked their spot in the Bon Secours Limerick SHC quarter-finals following a 2-13 to 0-13 win over Ahane in Cappamore. A goal in either half from Adam English and Darragh Stapleton helping them into the last eight.
It's been a very tough season for the east Limerick side as they have been dealing with an unprecedented injury crisis but selector Derek Dormer feels that a win in the knockout stages would be brilliant for a side that are very much a work in progress.
