Julie Wakley, Tourism Ireland's Head of Great Britain, said: “We were delighted to invite these leading golf journalists to visit Limerick, to experience some of our top courses for themselves. The print and online articles they produce will reach around 8.3 million British golf fans – a fantastic opportunity to showcase our exceptional golf, stunning scenery and unique hospitality. We know that the combination of our world-class golf and our unique brand hospitality plays a key role in attracting golfers from Britain and around the world.
“Tourism Ireland is taking every opportunity to highlight the fact that Adare Manor will host the Ryder Cup next year and that the Walker Cup will take place in Lahinch and the Irish Open at Trump International Golf Links in Doonbeg this year.”
