Ryder Cup highlights will be broadcast from Adare Manor free-to-air.
RTÉ have announced a new multi-year agreement for the Amgen Irish Open on the DP World Tour across video, audio and online, extending its relationship with one of the most important events on the Irish sporting calendar.
The announcement comes as the 2026 Amgen Irish Open gets underway today, with RTÉ coverage beginning live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player from 1:30pm.
RTÉ has also secured Ryder Cup highlights rights for the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor, when golf’s greatest team competition returns to Irish soil.
This prestigious event will bring the world’s leading players from Europe and the United States together in County Limerick for three days of competition and viewers will be able to watch highlights of the best of the action, free-to-air.
The agreement includes television broadcast and 30-day catch-up rights in the Republic of Ireland, alongside social media clip rights. RTÉ will also have radio rights for both tournaments.
RTÉ Head of Sport, Declan McBennett said:
"Given the drama, excitement and world class field the Amgen Irish Open now attracts, we are delighted to renew our broadcast agreement and bring more great live sport to Irish audiences free-to-air.
“On top of that, to be able to incorporate highlights from one of the world's great sporting spectacles that is the Ryder Cup means that RTÉ will ensure Irish audiences have even more access to memorable sporting moments on Irish soil and all free-to-air."
