Jobs Expo Limerick returns to The Greenhills Hotel on Saturday 7th November, with employers recruiting across healthcare, engineering, technology, hospitality and the public sector. Entry is free.

Jobseekers in Limerick and the wider Mid-West will have the chance to meet dozens of employers face to face next week, as Jobs Expo returns to the city.

The free careers fair takes place at The Greenhills Hotel on Saturday 7th November, with doors opening at 11am.

Exhibitors confirmed so far include International Aerospace Coatings (IAC), HSE Mid West, University of Limerick, Atlantic Technological University, TUI, Analog Devices, Specsavers, the Defence Forces, Comfort Keepers, Dovida, Barnardos, Atlantic Projects Company and ESS Ltd, among others.

For anyone who has spent months sending applications into online portals without reply, the appeal is straightforward: the people doing the hiring are in the room.

While conducting live interviews on site today, we made five offers of employment and all five were accepted," said one exhibitor, SCL Sales Ltd., of a previous Jobs Expo event.

Jobs Expo has been running careers fairs in Ireland since 2011 and more than 80,000 jobseekers have attended its events in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick in that time.

The Limerick event is the last of the 2026 series before the expo returns to Cork in February.

Alongside the exhibitor stands, the day includes a free Career Clinic, where professional career coaches give one-to-one advice on CVs and interview technique.

No appointment is needed and the service is free to anyone attending.

A programme of talks runs throughout the day on practical subjects including CV writing, interview preparation and changing career direction.

Organisers say the event suits a broad range of attendees, from recent graduates and school leavers to experienced professionals considering a move, and people returning to work after a break.

“Most people find their next role through a conversation rather than an application form,” a spokesperson for Jobs Expo said.

“That is what the day is for — a chance to talk directly to employers who are hiring right now, and to get honest advice on where you stand.”

Entry is free, but visitors are asked to register in advance so organisers can plan numbers.

Registration takes under a minute and is available at jobsexpo.ie.
