Former National Museum director set for lecture series in Limerick

Dr Pat Wallace grew up in Askeaton, attending St Mary’s Secondary School

THE former director of the National Museum of Ireland Dr Pat Wallace will be back near home territory this Friday night when he gives a talk in Ballysteen’s Carnegie Library.

The archaeologist and historian will address an event looking at the roads around Askeaton, asking: ‘when, how and why'.

Dr Wallace grew up in the west Limerick town attending St Mary’s Secondary School.

The talk starts at 7:30pm this Friday night, March 20.
