Limerick contestant(s) on The Traitors Ireland to be revealed

A LIMERICK contestant or possibly contestants on The Traitors Ireland will be unveiled this Sunday night when the the Irish series of the global phenomenon airs on RTÉ One at 9.35pm.

The show has become a cult hit since its launch in the Netherlands in 2021, with many in Ireland glued to the BBC version.

Twenty four people are put into a group but hidden among them are Traitors who have to deceive, manipulate, and ‘murder’ their way to a prize of up to €50,000. The Faithfuls try to root out the Traitors before it is too late.

It has been reported that the 24 players on the show, hosted by Siobhán McSweeney, come from Cork, Dublin, Donegal, Galway, Kildare, Mayo, Laois, Limerick, Tipperary, Tyrone, Waterford, Wexford and Wicklow.

There is another local link as The Traitors Ireland: Uncloaked, the live companion show to its hit reality series, is being filmed in Limerick. It is on immediately after the first episode of The Traitors Ireland at 10.35pm.
