Met Éireann pinpoints when we can expect improvements to weather in latest weekend forecast
This weekend's weather looks set to be quite mixed according to Met Éireann's latest forecast.
The high temperatures and humidity will remain over the coming days, but unfortunately so will the persistent showers.
However, Met Éireann has indicated that these showers will start to lessen on Sunday as next week will be off to a drier and more pleasant start.
Here is how the weather is shaping up for the next few days.
Friday night will be cloudy and misty with some showers in parts. There will be hill and coastal fog too. Lowest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees.

Saturday will be dull with some patches of rain and drizzle. The south and east will see some sunny spells where it will be warm and humid. Highest temperatures of 14 degrees in the northwest and 22 degrees in the southeast.
Saturday night will be a cloudy one with outbreaks of rain and patches of mist and fog in parts. Lowest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees.
Sunday will be off to a cloudy start with some outbreaks of rain. However, it will brighten up later in the day with sunny spells and scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 14 degrees in the northwest and 20 degrees in the southeast.
Sunday night will be mostly dry with clear spells. There will be the chance of isolated showers at times in the west and north. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees.
Monday will be mostly dry with just a few showers in places. It will be generally cloudy with some sunny spells. Highest temperatures from 14 degrees in the northwest and 20 degrees in the southeast.
Monday night will remain generally dry and cloudy. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees.
Tuesday will be cloudy and dry, with some isolated showers possible. Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees.
