FOLLOWING a landmark year for her brand, Limerick designer Aoife McNamara presented ‘The AMN World’ as part of the official Copenhagen Fashion Week schedule. This brought the spirit of the brand’s thatched cottage in Adare to the heart of Copenhagen with an immersive, lived-in home concept replacing the traditional runway or showroom format.

Designed to be experienced rather than observed, the immersive space explored the intersection of fashion, lifestyle, and nature. Inspired by the rhythms of the natural world, every material, object, and detail was carefully chosen to reflect the brand’s philosophy, celebrating craft, sustainability, and the journey from intention to action.

The presentation unfolded across a series of intimate gatherings. A morning event hosted in conversation with jewellery brand Chupi introduced the space, followed by a styling suite attended by Vogue Business, The Business of Fashion, and leading creatives and voices within the sustainable fashion space. Guests experienced the collection within the AMN World environment, seeing the garments not as static pieces, but as clothing designed to be lived in and loved.

In the evening, familiar faces and new members of the AMN community gathered for a seasonal farm-to-table dinner, cooked tableside by a local private chef. The tablescape featured elements from the brand’s forthcoming homeware collection, set to launch this summer, extending the AMN World beyond clothing and into the rituals of daily life. All guests wore Aoife McNamara, styling the pieces in their own way and bringing an international perspective to an inherently Irish brand.

Rooted in Irish craft, landscape, and sustainability, The AMN World experience brought the spirit of Ireland to an international audience through fashion, environment, and community. When speaking about her experience at Copenhagen Fashion Week, Aoife McNamara said:

“This week is about bringing a little piece of our island to an international stage, carrying Ireland with us in every detail of our AMN World.”

Part of a wider long-term vision for the brand, ‘The AMN World’ marks the beginning of a broader immersive concept set to evolve in 2026. Warm, intimate and human, it offers a space to connect with the story behind each garment. At its heart, Aoife McNamara is about community and meaningful engagement, creating environments where Irish craft, sustainability, and modern luxury coexist and where clothing is not simply worn, but truly lived in.

Aoife McNamara is regarded as one of the country’s leading luxury sustainable fashion brands and proudly Ireland’s first B Corp certified fashion house. Known for their modern reinterpretation of heritage Irish pieces, the brand has shown in Paris and New York, yet Ireland remains central to everything it does, from material choices and traditional techniques, to the communities and artisans behind each piece.

Aoife founded her eponymous brand in 2019, shortly after graduating from Limerick School of Art & Design and shaped by her time working in Paris and New York.
