Limerick builders to feature on brand new TV show

New Departures Media presents 'Na Builders'

THE NEW series ‘Na Builders’, is the first of its kind on Irish screens, and delves into the lives in the construction industry in Ireland.

There are over 160,000 people employed in the industry in the country. These people build, renovate and reimagine our countryside and our towns.

‘Na Builders’ is an original, home-grown series for TG4 that shines the spotlight on construction workers from across the country as they battle the elements - and occasionally each other - to get the job done.

The series is running every Thursday at 9:30pm on TG4 for seven weeks.

Episode 2 will air tonight and will feature local company The Galtee Group as well as the University of Limerick’s Construction Studies Department.

Spending time with builders of all shapes and sizes, in rural and urban settings, the series will look at what they are building and who they are building for and allow viewers to get a real sense of building in Ireland today.

The nearly hour-long episodes will feature everyone from bricklayers to electricians, plumbers to roofers, plasterers to carpenters showing how these hardworking men and women are an integral part of our everyday lives in Ireland.

New Departures Media have produced the new series for TG4 to delve right into the lives of the people who are building our communities, towns, and homes. A series like this hasn't been seen on Irish TV screens before.
