TREATY United will be looking to bounce back from a disruptive couple of weeks when they face Kerry FC in a Munster derby tonight in Tralee.

The Shannonsiders played two games in the space of four days the previous week in the SSE Airtricity League First Division. On Good Friday, Tommy Barrett's charges welcomed Longford Town to the Markets Field.

The hosts were held to a 0-0 draw on what was a frustrating night for the 'Super Blues.'

Treaty then travelled to St Colman's Park on Bank Holiday Monday where they were heavily beaten on Leeside by their Cork counterparts.

A Dylan McGlade hat-trick helped the hosts to a 4-0 victory. Treaty were due to play high-flying Cork City on Friday night but the tie was postponed following a pitch inspection on the Markets Field before kick-off.

With Treaty's tie against the league leaders yet to be rescheduled, the Limerick side must shift their attention to Kerry FC on Friday night.

'The Kingdom' sit in ninth position in the First Division table, just one point ahead of Treaty who sit at the foot of the table on six points.

Colin Healy's side have endured a patchy start to the season with just one win to their name in the opening ten rounds of fixtures, their solitary win of the season coming against Finn Harps last month in Tralee.

Treaty and Kerry have already locked horns this season at the Markets Field last month in what was a thrilling draw in Garryowen.

The visitors took the lead in the 17th minute through Ewan Lee. The hosts equalised through Cian Curtis before Kerry took the lead once again via a Cian Murphy penalty.

Treaty pushed for an equaliser and were rewarded late on thanks to Cian Curtis from the penalty spot.

Kick-off on Friday in Kerry tonight is at 7.45pm.
