IN-FORM Treaty United are up to fifth place in the Women's Premier Division table after securing an impressive 1-0 victory over Wexford FC at Ferrycarrig Park on Saturday afternoon.

Katie Lawlee scored the game's only goal as she pounced on a clearance from the Wexford defence following a Treaty United free-kick from the left in first half stoppage time.

Treaty United are now just hree points off third-placed Wexford FC in the table.

Treaty Manager Sean Russell brought Grace McInerney, Aibhlinn Cotter and Amy Tierney into his starting XI for the game.

Kate O’Donovan and Chloe Widger came into the matchday squad for the FAI Women's Cup semi-finalists, who host Galway Utd at the Markets Field on Saturday in their next league fixture, 3pm.

Treaty United will be looking to book their place in the Sports Direct Women's FAI Cup final for the first time on Saturday, September 13 when they travel to Dublin to take on Bohemians at Dalymount Park, 4pm, live on TG4.
