TREATY United return to SSE Airtricity League First Division action tonight when they host high-flying Dundalk at the Markets Field, kick-off at 7.45pm.

Treaty are winless in their last four league outings, with the Limerick side's last win in the league a 2-1 victory over Cobh Ramblers on July 11.

Since then, Tommy Barrett's side have drawn two (2-2 vs Athlone and 1-1 vs Kerry) and lost two (3-2 vs Bray and 2-0 vs Longford Town) as they continue their push for a play-off position.

The Limerick side will be looking to right the wrongs of a disappointing away trip last time out to Longford Town.

The Shannonsiders fell to a 2-0 defeat at Bishopsgate, a result that keeps Longford in the hunt for a play-off spot.

Treaty put in a spirited display the last time these two sides met back in June.

A last-gasp goal from captain Mark Walsh ensured Treaty left Oriel Park with a point.

Treaty will have to show that same level of fight and determination if they are to get a result on tonight against the league leaders.

Dundalk sit top of the table on 61 points, six points ahead of second place Cobh Ramblers.

A result would give Barrett's side some much needed breathing room in the First Division table as the league enters the business end of the season.
