TREATY United will look to get back to winning ways in the SSE Airtricity League First Division this Friday night when hosting Kerry FC at the Markets Field this Friday night.

Treaty suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat away to Longford Town at Bishopsgate on Saturday night. The result saw Treaty United drop to fifth place in the First Division table, four points behind third-placed Bray Wanderers and 11 points adrift of table toppers Dundalk with seven series of fixtures played.

For Saturday night's trip to Longford, Fionn Doherty came into Treaty United's starting XI, while Vojtěch Ptáček and Mark Walsh came into Tommy Barrett's matchday squad for the game.

Treaty were fancied to pick up all three points on the trip to the midlands but were met with fierce resistance from the men in red and black, inspired by the impressive Eric Yoro in the midfield sector.

The deadlock was eventually broken in the 71st minute from a penalty converted by Aaron Doran which was awarded for a foul on Oisin Hand. The Longford victory was wrapped up when Etoile Emmanuel Milongo created the opportunity for Emmanuel James to smash the ball into the net.

Friday's visitors to the Markets Field, Kerry FC, are seventh in the table.
