TREATY United have moved joint top of the SSE Airtricity League Women's Premier Division after making it back-to-back wins with a impressive 2-0 victory over DLR Waves at UCD on Saturday.

Bella Flocchini finished from a right angle seven minutes before the break to help Treaty United into a 1-0 lead, before Jillian O'Toole made the points safe with a 74th-minute strike.

Flocchini's first half goal for Treaty, her second of the campaign, was well-crafted as she latched onto Ayaka Ikeza's probing ball, before flashing a neat left foot finish across the DLR goalkeeper and into the back of the net.

The American has returned to Treaty United this season having enjoyed a brief spell with the club last summer, making five appearances. Flocchini played collegiately with the San José State University Spartans, spending four seasons in California.

Flocchini then provided the assist in the second half for Treaty United captain O'Toole to double their advantage.

New Jersey native O'Toole is in her second season with the club having joined Treaty United in February of last year.
Her brother Kevin plays for MLS team New York City FC.

It was a second clean sheet in a row for Sean Russell's Treaty United side who had defeated newcomers Waterford in their opening league fixture at the Markets Field seven days earlier.

Saturday's game saw Ciara Breslin make her senior debut for Treaty United.

Next up for Treaty United, who lead the way in the Women's Premier Division along with Galway United, is an away date with Shamrock Rovers at Tallaght Stadium on Saturday, March 22, 5pm.

TREATY UNITED: Liisa Marie Tuomi, Grace McInerney, Ayaka Ikeza, Anna Rockett, Cara Griffin (Grace Ehinger 76), Bella Flocchini, Katie Lawlee (Laura O'Neill 87), Kate Jones (Madison McGuane 56), Clodagh Daly, Jillian O'Toole (Capt), Ciara Breslin.
