TREATY United have announced that exciting teenager Robbie Lynch has re-signed with the club for the 2025 SSE Airtricity League season.
The eighteen-year-old enters his second full season at senior level having burst onto the scene in the summer of 2023.
Lynch, a former schoolboy at Broadford United, began his journey with Treaty United in 2021, joining the MU15 side before progressing to the MU17 and MU19 teams in subsequent seasons.
He made his first-team debut in May 2023 in a home match against Galway United and has since become a key figure in Treaty United’s defence, excelling in both right-back and centre-back positions.
To date, the Limerick teenager has made 35 senior appearances, scoring two goals and providing two assists. His performances last season earned him the title of the club’s Young Player of the Year, as voted by his teammates and coaching staff.
Speaking to TreatyUnitedFC.com, Treaty Utd manager Tommy Barrett said he was delighted to have a young talent like
Robbie signed up for 2025.
“I’m delighted to have Robbie back for 2025. He gained valuable experience last season playing 30 games and think he can develop further this season while completing his Leaving Certificate.
"I believe he has a great attitude and work ethic to develop into a very good player in the league”
