WATCH: Treaty United secure Women's Premier Division victory over Galway

THE Treaty United women's side scored an impressive 1-0 victory over third-placed Galway United in the SSE Airtricity League Women's Premier Division at the Markets Field on Saturday afternoon.

Danielle Steer grabbed the only goal of the game, perfectly placing her penalty low into the corner in the 72nd minute to earn the three precious points for Dominic Foley's Treaty United.

It was a seventh goal in 11 league appearances for Steer.

The 25-year-old British Columbia native joined Dominic Foley’s Treaty United squad in July having previously lined out on a professional contract for Turkish Women’s Football Super League side Fenerbahce.

Treaty United are in seventh place in the Women's Premier Division table ahead of their final league outing of the season against Peamount United at PRL Park in Dublin on Saturday next, 3pm.
