TREATY United will look to get their faltering promotion play-off hopes in the SSE Airtricity League First Division back on track this Friday night when travelling to the Carlisle Grounds to face Bray Wanderers, 7.45pm kick-off time.
Treaty's play-off hopes suffered a significant blow on Friday night when the side suffered a 3-1 defeat to Wexford FC at the Markets Field.
That result leaves eighth-placed Treaty a full eight points off fifth-placed Wexford who occupy the final promotion play-off position in the table. Cobh Ramblers, in sixth, are three points ahead of Treaty in the table, while seventh-placed Finn Harps enjoy a two-point lead over Treaty United.
Treaty had gone into last Friday's game with Wexford on the back of an extended six-game unbeaten run in all competitions.
Friday night's defeat was the side's second loss in their last nine home fixtures. Bray Wanderers go into their home fixture with Treaty United on the back of a precious 1-0 away victory over third-placed Athlone Town.
Treaty have eight games remaining in the First Division regular season, including Friday's trip to Bray as home fixtures with Kerry FC, Athlone Town, Longford Town and UCD await along with away dates against Cobh Ramblers, Cork City and finally Finn Harps.
