Quarry Players return to the stage in Limerick later this month with Moment.
The popular Limerick based theatre group take up a five night residency in 69 O’Connell Street- the former Belltable Arts Centre - from March 10-14, with the play by Deirdre Kinahan.
Directed by Limerick theatre stalwart John Anthony Murphy, Kinahan’s critically acclaimed play probes the fractures that can split a family while showing the bonds of love that struggle to survive the darkest events, focussing on how one terrible moment can change lives irrevocably.
The drama, written by Kinahan, one of Ireland’s most celebrated playwrights, follows the Lynch family, gathering together for first time in years who struggle with the repercussions of a dreadful crime from the past continues to haunt them.
Fast, witty and frighteningly real, Moment takes you on a journey through trauma wrapped up in tablecloths and teacake.
A top class casts features Kevin Bradshaw, Deirdre Flynn, Bernie Hayes, Niamh O’Mara, Tim Evans, Nigel Dugdale, Eukaria O’Grady and Alanna Marsh.
See www.limetreetheatre.ie for full details and to book tickets for the show, which opens on Tuesday, March 10.
