There is magic, myth and music as he interacts with the two musicians, percussionist Brian Fleming and harpist Aisling Lyons who enhance each tale with a live sonic landscape.
Their collaboration transforms the tales into an exhilarating and entertaining fusion of story and sound.
Inspired by his work in folklore, nature and the traditional arts, Aindrias brings us on journeys through bumpy roads and hidden boreens, through scary scenes and magical places - strictly for grown ups!
‘By The Light of The Silvery Moon’ is a celebration of Ireland’s living heritage, where ancient voices meet modern ears in a night of wonder and wit.
Aindrias draws inspiration from Raifteirí an File and Brian Merriman, and has honed a contemporary seanachai style that is firmly rooted in the traditions of the west.
