THERE were celebrations at Bulgaden Castle at the weekend when the Limerick Ladies Gaelic Football underage teams received their Munster Medals at a special awards night.
The Medals were presented to the under-14 and under-16 teams by Limerick's Kristine Reidy and Meath's All-Ireland winning player Emma Duggan.
The Limerick under-14 team defeated Waterford, Clare and Tipperary in April to win the provincial B title while the under-16 side won the Munster B Championship in May when they defeated Clare in the final.
John Macnamara was MC for the awards night and other guests included Matt O'Callaghan and Cllr John Egan who represented Mayor Francis Foley.
