Eoin Corby from Clarina in Limerick
Limerick swimmer Eoin Corby has been named on the Irish swimming squad for the LEN European Junior Championships in Kazan and the FINA World Junior Championships in Budapest.
With Eoin Corby and Limerick based Uiseann Cooke already displaying performances this season which will challenge the best in Europe when it comes to the event in June, medal hopes are high.
Corby also joins Amelia Kane and Daniel Wiffin as a trio who will challenge at this year’s FINA World Junior Championships in Budapest.
For the LEN European Junior Championships in Kazan, a blend of individual and relay performance has again been considered amongst the eight athletes selected.
3rd – 7th July European Junior Swimming Championships Kazan, Russia
21st – 28th July FINA World Championships (Swimming) Gwangju, Korea
22nd – 28th July European Youth Olympic Festival Baku, Azerbaijan
20th – 25th August FINA World Junior Championships Budapest, Hungary
