PICTURES: Current and former Limerick hurlers take part in GAA club's poc fada

The event organised by Kilmallock GAA Club is in memory of the late Dylan McCarthy

A HUGE crowd worked off the turkey and ham at Kilmallock GAA Club's annual Dylan McCarthy Poc Fada on St Stephen's Day.

Participants were up bright and early for the event in memory of Dylan, who was tragically killed in Monasterevin, Co Kildare in August of 2022.

The poc fada is a lovely initiative to keep the popular 29-year-old's memory alive as he was a massive Kilmallock and Limerick hurling fan.

Among those to take part were current and former Kilmallock and Limerick GAA stars - Shane O'Brien, Andrew O'Shaughnessy, Paudie O'Brien, Micheál Houlihan, Conor Hanley-Clarke, and Oisin O'Reilly
