ALL-IRELAND junior ladies football champions Limerick have revealed a 32-stong panel to start the Lidl Ladies National Football League.

It's a repeat of the All-Ireland final when Limerick play Louth this Sunday (2pm) - Askeaton hosts the round one tie in Division Four.

Ahead of the new season Limerick manager John Ryan has confirmed that All-Ireland junior championship winning captain Cathy Mee will again lead the Shannonsiders in 2019 with Caroline Hickey as vice-captain.

There is one change to the management team – Mungret’s Liam O’Connell replacing Jim Moran, who has opted out for family reasons. The full management team reads; John Ryan (manager) and selectors; Paul Butler, Liam O’Connell and Aideen Fitzpatrick.

Among the new faces on the panel are goalkeeper Maire Lyons, rising star Andrea O’Sullivan and Eimear Kirby.

Currently absent from last year’s All-Ireland winning panel are Aine and Clodagh McGrath, Martina Giltenane and Dymphna O’Brien.
