WATCH: Brendan Foley tells of special gift Johnny Sexton sent to grandson Dan

FORMER Munster and Ireland rugby player Brendan Foley has told how Ireland out-half Johnny Sexton sent a special birthday gift to his grandson Dan, son of the late Anthony Foley.

Brendan Foley was appearing on the Claire Byrne Live show on RTE TV on Monday night during a segment of the show which celebrated the 40th anniversary of Munster’s celebrated victory over the All-Blacks at Thomond Park in October 1978.

Brendan Foley explained that Leinster star Sexton had sent a special jersey to Dan on his birthday earlier this year.
