Johnny Sexton celebrates his last gasp drop goal which helped Ireland beat France in the 6 Nations Championship in Paris last February
FORMER Munster and Ireland rugby player Brendan Foley has told how Ireland out-half Johnny Sexton sent a special birthday gift to his grandson Dan, son of the late Anthony Foley.
Brendan Foley was appearing on the Claire Byrne Live show on RTE TV on Monday night during a segment of the show which celebrated the 40th anniversary of Munster’s celebrated victory over the All-Blacks at Thomond Park in October 1978.
Brendan Foley explained that Leinster star Sexton had sent a special jersey to Dan on his birthday earlier this year.
