Boston scored three times after a 20-minute delay to beat 10-man Solihull 3-0 in the National League.
The referee took both teams off shortly after Solihull’s Conor Wilkinson was shown a straight red card in the 66th minute, seemingly for something he had said.
When play resumed, Boston immediately took the lead through Lewis Baines’ own goal.
Jacob Hazel added a second after being set up by Marcel Lavinier in the 77th minute.
And a victory that took Boston above their opponents in the table was rounded off in the 90th minute through Frankie Maguire’s sixth league goal of the campaign.
