St Johnstone maintain eight-point lead with goalless draw at Partick

St Johnstone maintained their eight-point lead at the top of the William Hill Championship with a 0-0 draw at second-placed Partick.

Ruari Paton twice went close for Saints with his low drive stringing the palms of Thistle goalkeeper Joshua Clarke.

The hosts went close when Tsoanelo Letsosa’s effort was pushed away by Toby Steward before Ben Stanway’s follow-up was blocked.
