Wycombe extend unbeaten run while Bromley held by Oldham

Wycombe secured their third straight League One victory after beating Barnsley 1-0.

Aaron Morley scored the only goal of the game to move the Chairboys into the top six and they are now unbeaten in four league outings.

Josh Magennis cancelled out Udoka Godwin-Malife’s opener as Exeter drew 1-1 with Burton, while Rotherham’s clash with Mansfield ended goalless.

In League Two, leaders Bromley extended their advantage at the top of the table by only a point after being held to a 0-0 draw with Oldham.

Chesterfield moved into the play-off places with a 3-0 win over Colchester.

Will Grigg sent them ahead from the penalty spot and goals from Dilan Markanday and Lee Bonis moved the Spireites into sixth.

Grimsby sit one point outside the play-off spots after beating Salford 3-1, where a destructive nine-minute period saw goals from Kieran Green, Charles Vernam and Jude Soonsup-Bell before Cole Stockton scored a consolation.

Mark Helm’s goal gave Fleetwood a 1-0 win over Walsall, while Michael Spellman’s double lifted Newport out of the relegation zone with a 3-1 victory over 10-man Tranmere.

Sam Finley’s opener was cancelled out by Spellman and Tranmere were reduced to 10 when Finley was shown a red card before Cameron Evans and Spellman struck late.
