Blackpool picked up a rare League One win as they claimed a 1-0 victory over Mansfield at Bloomfield Road.
Niall Ennis scored the only goal of the contest as the Seasiders bounced back from a crushing 4-0 defeat to Plymouth.
On the back of their FA Cup heroics across Lancashire away to Burnley at the weekend, the Stags were unable to create too much against a side who had won just one of their last eight league games.
Both sides had half chances in the opening exchanges. At one end, an effort from Oliver Irow took a touch wide, while at the other Ashley Fletcher missed the target with a header.
The deadlock was broken in the 34th minute. A ball into the box from the left was just behind Ennis, but the striker was able to take a touch before shooting past Liam Roberts on the turn.
Following the restart, Fletcher came the closest to adding a second for Ian Evatt’s side, with the striker’s back-post header just lacking enough power to trouble the goalkeeper.
