Will Harris scored twice as Halifax maintained their play-off push with a 3-2 win at Eastleigh.
The visitors – chasing a third straight Enterprise National League victory – took an early lead in the ninth minute through an acrobatic overhead kick from Harris before Samuel Pearson had Eastleigh back on level terms in the 27th minute.
Halifax, who had seen a goal from Adam Adetoro ruled out for offside, were back in front just before the break when Harris latched onto a pass from defender Thierry Latty-Fairweather to slot home his second.
The Shaymen went further ahead on the hour through a close-range strike from substitute Florent Hoti before Halifax keeper Sam Johnson saved Aaron Blair’s penalty and Eastleigh then pulled a late goal back through a spot-kick from Lloyd Humphries.
