Deji Elerewe headed home an 89th-minute winner to keep Bromley’s promotion charge on track with a 1-0 win over Accrington.
The Ravens, who have now won six of their last seven Sky Bet League Two matches, left it late with Mitch Pinnock’s cross finding the defender at the far post.
Both sides came close to taking the lead in the opening stages.
Bromley’s nine-goal top scorer Michael Cheek fired over the crossbar in the first minute while, after 16 minutes, Stanley’s Shaun Whalley was clean through but he too could not find the target.
The hosts were creating the better opportunities in the first half, with Pinnock’s strike tipped away by goalkeeper Ollie Wright and Idris Odutayo’s cross just evading Cheek at the far post. Corey Whitely blasted over the crossbar in the 39th minute.
After the break, it was Stanley who were on top, but neither Whalley or Paddy Madden could test goalkeeper Grant Smith with their chances just after the hour mark.
Both managers made substitutes to try and change the game and it was Bromley who piled on the pressure late on to score the winner.
