Tyrell Sellars-Fleming scored the only goal as Scunthorpe extended their unbeaten National League run to five games after defeating Yeovil 1-0 at the Attis Arena.
The decisive moment arrived in the 22nd minute when Sellars-Flemming tapped into an empty net after Declan Howe slid in to win a challenge with Yeovil goalkeeper Jed Ward before setting up his colleague.
Alfie Beestin fired wide before James Plant was denied a Yeovil equaliser by an excellent stop from goalkeeper Rory Mahady, making his home debut.
Ward foiled Howe before Zain Westbrooke lifted the rebound over and Carlton Ubaezuonu dragged an effort wide for the hosts but Sellars-Fleming’s strike proved enough as Yeovil lost for a fourth time in a five-match winless streak.
