Substitute Scott Banks scored a dramatic late winner to give struggling Blackpool a first away win of the season following a 2-1 triumph at Peterborough.
Banks curled home a beauty just 10 minutes after entering the game to give Ian Evatt victory in his first game as Blackpool’s new manager.
The Seasiders had earlier hit the front thanks to a Peter Kioso own goal before they were pegged back by Matt Garbett on the stroke of half-time.
Garbett saw an effort parried over before Harry Leonard headed wide during a bright start by United.
Blackpool hit the front after 35 minutes when a saved Josh Bowler shot hit the unlucky Kioso and went in.
Posh levelled when Garbett fired home from outside the box after 44 minutes.
Jimmy-Jay Morgan had a goal ruled out for offside five minutes after the restart for Posh.
Ashley Fletcher then fired over from a good position for Blackpool before Lee Evans sent a free-kick inches wide after 65 minutes.
But Blackpool found the winner when Banks curled a shot into the far corner with five minutes to go.
