Halifax late show rescues point against Eastleigh

Halifax scored twice in the last eight minutes to rescue a 2-2 draw at home to Eastleigh.

The visitors appeared to be in control after Zavier Massiah-Edwards, on loan from Watford, got his first goal for the club to put them ahead after 15 minutes before Luis Fernandez’s fine volley doubled the advantage.

But Halifax kept pushing and after Owen Bray and Cody Johnson went close, they got back into it through Owen Devonport in the 82nd minute.

That left time for Thierry Latty-Fairweather to pop up with the equaliser in the 87th minute.
