Solihull and Sutton share spoils

Solihull Moors and Sutton were forced to settle for a point apiece after a 1-1 draw in their Vanarama National League clash at the ARMCO Arena.

Both goals came in the early stages with Eduino Vaz putting the visitors ahead after seven minutes and Jack Stevens heading Moors level 11 minutes later.

Stevens was denied a second by a good save from Jack Sims while at the other end Lewis Simper drew a fine stop from on-loan Southampton goalkeeper Ollie Wright.

Wright also did well to keep out an effort from Finley Barbrook and Simper shot wide as the game ended all square.
