Barnet hit five past Yeovil to move nine points clear at National League summit

National League leaders Barnet crushed Yeovil 5-0 to move nine points clear at the top of the table.

Early pressure from the hosts paid off when Ryan Glover opened the scoring on the rebound in the 16th minute and they doubled the advantage through Callum Stead in the 37th minute when he turned in a low cross.

It was 3-0 before the break as Barnet took a short corner and Anthony Hartigan curled home a shot.

The pressure continued in the second half and paid off with a pair of late penalties, the first converted by Harry Chapman in the 82nd minute and the second by Dom Telford four minutes later.
