Southend scored a stoppage-time equaliser as James Golding’s superb strike gave them a dramatic 2-2 draw with Yeovil at Huish Park.
The Shrimpers led after 40 seconds when Charley Kendall slid home Leon Chambers-Parillon’s cross.
Yeovil turned things around as Kyrell Wilson levelled after 14 minutes and Frank Nouble quickly poked in it at the back post to score for the third consecutive game.
Southend went close to an equaliser when Ben Goodliffe’s header from a corner was cleared off the line.
It looked as if the Glovers would hold on to move above Southend in the Vanarama National League table, but Golding’s 20-yard shot in the fourth minute of added time rewarded the visitors’ late pressure.
