Eastleigh fight back from 2-0 down to beat Fylde

Eastleigh staged a stirring fightback to recover from 2-0 down and beat Fylde 4-2 in the National League.

The visitors made a flying start, with Nick Haughton scoring from the spot in the 20th minute and adding his second goal seven minutes later.

But Jake Taylor sparked the turnaround, striking 10 minutes before half-time to give Eastleigh hope.

And they produced an outstanding display after the break, drawing level through Paul McCallum’s penalty before Chris Maguire put them ahead with 20 minutes left.

McCallum added a second goal six minutes later, and not even the late sending off of Ludwig Francillette for a second booking could take the shine off an impressive display.
