ALL attention has turned back to National League action after a huge weekend for some Limerick teams in the National Cup Finals.

In the InsureMyVan.ie men's national league Limerick Sport Eagles will be hoping to dust themselves off after a tough National Cup defeat to UCD Marian.

Eagles struggled in the opening quarter leaving the Dublin side score 31 points to their 16 points, which they were never able to recover from.

They will travel to SETU Carlow on Sunday at 1:00pm to try and get their winning streak back in the league.

Limerick Celtics have had a long break since Christmas and get their league campaign back in action when they host Drogheda Wolves also on Sunday at 3:15 in Crescent Comprehensive College.

In the MissQuote.ie women's division one league Limerick Sport Huskies are on the road to Dublin where they will face Moy Tolka Rovers on Saturday at 6:00pm.

Huskies, despite their huge squad list and talent, have struggled to get vital wins in their league games and will be hoping to turn over a new leaf in 2024.

Limerick Celtics ladies team will be coming down off their National Cup winning high after claiming the title for the first time in the clubs history.

Celtics will travel to Kilkenny on Saturday to face Marble City Hawks at 7:00pm.
