THREE OUT OF FOUR Limerick national league basketball teams are on the road this weekend in the second last round of games this year.
In the InsureMyVan.ie men's division one, Limerick Celtics will travel to Portlaoise to take on Kavangh's Panthers, who will be serious competition for the Celtics team.
Celtics will be hoping to make this fixture a three from three win on Saturday in St Mary's Hall at 7:00pm.
Limerick Sport Eagles are on the road again as they face Drogheda Wolves on Saturday at 7:30pm. Eagles suffered a tough 88-74 defeat to UCD Marian last weekend and need this win against Drogheda to keep their hopes of qualifying for league play-off's alive.
In the MissQuote.ie women's national league Limerick Celtics are the only Treaty team at home this weekend when they host Abbey Seals Dublin on Sunday at 3:15pm.
Celtics have been going through a good run of form recently and will be hoping to keep that momentum going this weekend.
Limerick Sport Huskies face a trip to Cavan to take on McEvoy's Eagles, who will be extremely difficutl to beat on their home court.
Huskies suffered a narrow defeat last weekend to Kilkenny team iSecure Swords Thunder on a scoreline of 67-64 in the UL arena.
